James Tunningley has over a decade of experience at the intersection of diplomacy, technology, and economic transformation. As Co-Founder and Director of Architect Systems Advisory, he partners with and invests in the world’s most forward-thinking tech ecosystems, driving growth and innovation at scale.

Previously, James was instrumental in shaping the Builders Funnel and early-stage venture programs at Protocol Labs. He also co-led large-scale initiatives advancing the network’s role in upgrading economic systems and governance models, including igniting the Crecimiento Movement in Argentina — focused on advancing crypto-enabled economic development across the region.

A former UK Diplomat with deep expertise in emerging markets, economic security, and technology, James blends policy insight with cutting-edge innovation to catalyze network-driven solutions that fuel sustainable, innovation-led growth worldwide. An adventurer at heart, James is an avid kitesurfer, alpinist, climber, and freeskier.
